National Debt Clock
In real-life terms
There are some good national debt clocks out there, but the problem with the U.S. debt is that it's so freaking... huge. Eight trillion dollars is the kind of figure that should make people go weak at the knees and start saying "wibble," but "trillion" is a number that's so far out of our usual frame of reference that it doesn't really register. This page aims to rectify that by putting the national debt in terms that we're more used to.
