Final grades were computed using

Pop Quizzes (10%)

Specifically, weightings are currently in Blackboard as follows:

FE : 25%
MT1: 15%
MT2: 15%

PQ1 -- PQ5: 1.67% each
PQ6: 1.65%

LA0: 0.4%
LA1 - LA10: 0.80% each

PS0 -- PS6, PS8 -- 11: 1.92% each
PS7: 3.88%

The final letter-grade distribution/percentage (and cumulatives) were as follows [N=121 students who took the Final Exam]:

A (90-99): 58/48% ( 58/ 48%)


B (80-89): 37/31% ( 95/ 79%)


C (70-79): 16/13% (111/ 92%)


D (60-69):  7/ 6% (118/ 98%)


F (00-59):  3/ 2% (121/100%)



GPA = (58*4+37*3+16*2+7*1+3*0)/121 = 3.16

Thus, almost half of the class did A work; almost four-fifths did A or B work; more than 90% are did C or better work.
