Problems 1.1-5
Most students received 8-10, which meant they substantially
and correctly the question. Points
were taken off for missing a piece of the question (e.g., how does the Turing
Test winner advance the state of AI) or for making a technical mistake (e.g.,
saying an NP-complete problem canŐt be solved in a finite amount of time). Also, 1-3 points were taken off for
incomplete or faulty reasoning.
Finally, missing the point or not really answering the question received
4-5 points off.
Problem 1.6
Some descriptions of answers are not very comprehensive.
Problem 1.7
Most students did a good job, but some others did not give correct answers.
