Problem 4.1 [5 points]

All students did good job for this problem. 1~2 points were deducted for a wrong answer.

Problem 4.2 [5 points]

Most students received full credit for this problem.

Problem 4.3 [10 points]

5 points for each of the two subproblems

One problem is that some students didn’t mention what is the trend of the function for different cases.

Problem 4.4 [10 points]

Most students received 7~9 points since they didn’t provide comprehensive descriptions for their answers.

 

Problem 4.5 [20 points]

Most students did good job. Some others provided wrong answers.

-3 for people who didn’t notice the constraint that any two letters should not be set to a same digit.

Problem 4.6 [25 points]

Most students provided complete algorithms and codes for this problem, although there were some errors.

Problem 4.7 [25 points]

Some students didn’t provide answer to this problem, and some others only provided partial solution. For students who did not explain their answer code, 3~7 points were deducted.
