I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Case Western Reserve University. My main area of research is Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, with emphasis on development of algorithms for data analysis in Systems Biology. Since January 2009, I also have a secondary appointment at Case Center for Proteomics & Bioinformatics.

Prior to joining CWRU in August 2007, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Parallel & Distributed Systems Lab in the Computer Science Department of Purdue University. In November 2007, I was awarded Theodore and Dana Schroeder endowed chair in Computer Science and Engineering by Case Western Reserve University.
