TWINSBURG,
Ohio -- A brand new basline is available in the PSC project at Hitachi Medical
Systems America, Inc.
This rainy afternoon at Hitachi Medical Systems America, Inc., located in
beautiful Twinsburg, OH senior co-op Steve Yutzy made a major breakthrough
in the development of new PSC software.
"We now have the ability to publish a catastrophic error event" remarked Mr. Yutzy.
Higher-ranking officials at HMSA could not be reached for comment, but Mr.
Yutzy is confident that they will be pleased with this new development.
"Since we're now getting into the more complicated (and undefined) scenarios,
the ability to bail out in case of a serious error is a major step forward."
Mr. Yutzy recently completed the fabrication of a baseline, titled yutzys_8_4_2004,
that includes the catastrophic error event and signal. Although there is not
much new content in this baseline, Mr. Yutzy insists that he is not just trying
to increase his lines of code count.
Other PSC developers should be advised that although the active object PODControlAR
will be the first to utilize this breakthrough addition, other objects can
use it as well. Mr. Gary Arnold, senior software engineer, has far-reaching
plans for the future of error handling in PSC software.
"I call it a trigger" says Mr. Arnold. "basically any object can say I want
to trigger off this event from any state, and the state machine will react".
Mr. Arnold then proceeded to lose his train of thought and resume thinking
about his impending vacation.
For further information about this remarkable new baseline, please contact
Mr. Steve Yutzy at syutzy@cdg.hitachimed.com before this friday, as after
then he will be on vacation and unreachable.
